Original Photo of something Beautiful

Mandarins
I went to a place called Yun Fu in China, where my mum grew up and took this picture while on a break.

Favourite Piece of Architecture

Picture found on Tumblr
The Brandenburg Gate, Berlin
My aunty was in Berlin for a long weekend, and she took a lot of photos of the building structures over there and showed me. But this well built structure caught my eye. The building structure looks like it was made of stone blocks. What I really like about this architectural piece is decorative pieces that were made around the building as well as the statue itself, everything is detailed nicely. The statue itself is so powerful and peaks right at the top of the gate, beautifully detailed, also during night times the down lights would light the statute making it seem as if it was alive.

Best Piece of creative work

This was done very recently, I think early this year. I am a person who hardly ever completes their drawing and I am quite proud of this. I love the Japanese tattooing theme and the traditional ukiyoe woodblock paintings. They have such simplistic outlining to the subjects and objects, but the bold colors can bring out every emotion. I have also had a lot of trouble drawing dragons and thought this was the best attempt ever.
